Kate: Hello, and welcome to forever 35 a podcast about the things we do to take care of ourselves. Oh, I'm Kate, Spencer. Forgot to say that part.

Doree: We did it. Kate, how's it going?
Kate: Well, I've just gotta say I've been so CHED by all the kind support I've received in the couple of weeks. Since my novel in a New York minute has come out. I've received so many nice messages from listeners. And I just wanna say, thank you.
Doree: And I wanna say thank you because those of you who email the podcast email, it's like I get to live through your praise for, for Kate's novel. That's really fun.
Kate: That's really, for me. That's sweet. Thank you, Doree.
Doree: Uh, I do enjoy it.
Kate: Uh, yeah, I, I, people have been very kind, so thank you. You can get it wherever you get or read or listen to books it's out there and, and, um, in more important news, I worked out in period leggings today.
Doree: Okay. Talk to me about what this means and was this inspired by our question on a recent episode.
Kate: Okay. So this is kind of a long story. So I had purchased these, they were on like mega sale from thinks.
Doree: Okay. Okay.
Kate: And then I tried them on and I didn't like the fit. And so I went to return them and they were like, you can just keep them now. I don't don't know if I should say that on the podcast or not, but that is what happened.
Doree: Okay.
Kate: You know how sometimes, like you go to return something on Amazon and they're like, don't worry about it. You're just like, oh, okay. I guess this is how crazy consumerism and capitalism is anyway. So they, they were just like, don't worry about the return. We'll refund. You keep the item. So being me, I like couldn't give them away. I just kind of killed onto them. And then we had that listener right in about exercising when you're menstruating and what they use, like, should they switch to, you know, period underwear? Are they a tampon at the gym person? And I was like, you know what? I should just try those leggings one time just to see. Because this listener talked about it. And quite frankly, these leggings seem like a good idea.
Doree: Now, are you, you're supposed to just, you're not supposed to wear underwear with them.
Kate: That is correct.
Doree: Okay.
Kate: So they have what their website says is moderate absorbency. So there is whatever the, like, you know, CR for lack of a better term crotch padding is that they put in the menstrual underwear or menstrual, you know, bleeding products. Um, it's in the, the crotch of these leggings. Crotch is the worst word. It's so awful. It's worse than moist.
Doree: Crotch is not a great word. I agree. I agree with that.
Kate: The reason I'd wanted to return these is because they felt like kind of tight on my leg. And then like, they were gonna slide down my waist. But what I did was I kind of stretched them a little bit when I first put them on and I really hiked them up high. And I was like, okay, I'm gonna try it. I'm gonna do it. And I went to my step class. My, I do like a high intensity.
Doree: We've we've heard about your class that I really wanna join you at sometimes.
Kate: Well, I also wanna say I was wearing a menstrual disc, so I wasn't.
Doree: Wow. I'm not, you had a lot happening.
Kate: Well, I have, I mean, again, this is where we're in the real TMI zone. You know, there are like, this is when I get a little awkward, because I know like their parents at my kid's school might hear this, you know, do they need to know this.
Doree: And they don't have periods? So I, I get why you would feel embarrassed.
Kate: I can't help that. I am three quarters Puritan. I come from a people who they don't wanna, they don't wanna talk about anything and it's still hard for me.
Doree: Okay. I get it, baby steps.
Kate: Thank you. So I had a menstrual disc in, I have a heavy period, menstrual disc, these leggings, like normally I, when I, when I have my period, I would have menstrual disc pat. Like I like a liner way. These leggings ended up being great.
Doree: Wow. OK.
Kate: I was pleasantly surprised. Like I did have to hike 'em up a, they don't have, um, like a tie around the waist, which I really like in my Lulu lemon leggings that I were to exercise so I can like tighten them or loosen them as needed. So these don't have that. That would be something I would appreciate if the think corporation is listening, but there are you listening?
Doree: Thinx corporation?
Kate: Yeah. I know all the head honchos at the thinks corporation are tuning in, but Dory they're 47 50 they're half price on their website. I, I like is, this was an interesting alternative. I definitely will wear them again when I have my period and I wanna go to the gym.
Doree: Great. Okay.
Kate: Yeah. Moderate absorbency,
Doree: moderate absorbency.
Kate: All right. Yeah. So I, we won't include a link. Check them out if you're menstrual legging curious.
Doree: All right. This is a hot tip. Yeah. Hot tip.
Kate: I'm wearing them right now. Actually, as we were, I kept them on all day. They're very comfortable. Okay. Yeah. My opinion has switched. I gave them a, I gave them a road test and my opinion switched. So here I am. Speaking of road testing things, you've been over there really trying something on trying something out for size.
Doree: Yes. So, okay. So I mentioned recently that I had gotten the, um, wait, did I, I didn't talk about this. Right?
Kate: You mentioned, so you gave us,
Doree: what did I talk about?
Kate: You gave us a spoiler. You were like, I made a purchase at dashing diva. And I was like, what is it? And you were like, it just wait. And I was like, is it tiny toe hats? And you were like, LOL.
Doree: Oh yes, yes, yes. Okay. I couldn't remember where we had left off.
Kate: I don't think you revealed actually what,
Doree: what it was. Okay. You got, yeah. Here's what I got. I got from dashing diva. I got their magic press pedicure. These are press on toenails now. I don't know why it had never occurred me to get, press on toenails before.
Kate: Oh my God. I never thought even knew they existed.
Doree: Me neither. But I was like, see if these exist at lo and behold, they exist.
Kate: So you Googled, you were like my feet, I need something. but you, you have a toil growing back. Right.
Doree: I have two to, I have my, my two big toenails are growing back. They're uneven. So even if I put Polish on them, they would still not look. Right. So I was like, you know what, let me see what the, what the deal is with press on nails for your toes, because that would solve my unevenness issue. I was slightly concerned. I was like, maybe they'll have trouble adhering because my toenails are uneven. But I was like, let me just try. They're also not expensive. They were like $9 or something, which is, you know, a lot less than going out and getting a pedicure anyway. Um, obviously more than buying, like a bottle of nail Polish and getting like multiple uses out of it.
Doree: But I was, and you know, I was also like, and I have given myself an at home pedicure, we got those great pedicure kits from our former sponsor Olive and June.
Kate: Yeah those are nice.
Doree: But like, even with the pedicure kid, it's still like kind of a pain to be like leaning over and like giving yourself a pedicure. And so, yeah, I was also intrigued by the idea of just slapping on some press on nails. Okay. So that's the preface I buy, I buy a few different options. I bought their magic press on. I also bought their gloss line, which are basically nail strips. So I was like, let me try out both of these and just see how I like them. Kate. I love the press on pedicure. I'm obsessed with it.
Kate: You sent me, I, I really had to open up my heart to accept a photo of feet. And in fact I was demanding it because I wanted to see what they looked like.
Doree: I did. I mean, I said to you, are you sure you want me to send this to you? Because it is a photo of feet.
Kate: Like your feet are fine. They're beautiful. And I was like, yes, I need to see this in action. And it looked great. So, but this was a few days ago. Are, do you still have the press on nails on.
Doree: yes. And they still look great.
Kate: And it does, you don't feel anything on your toes, like you, aren't conscious of the fact that you fake nails on your toes?
Doree: No. I try to be like a little careful like that they don't like snag on anything.
Kate: Right, right.
Doree: But for the most part, I'm, it's not like I'm thinking about them. You, you know, if you put, press on nails on your fingers, you know that like they usually send you a few different sizes, so you can kind of match up the right size with your fingers. And that's what I do with my toes. Um, and, and I I'm just like so pleased. I am so pleased.
Kate: Was it a glue that you used to ad do the adhesive or was it like just a adhesive sticker type thing?
Doree: This was just an adhesive sticker. Now I do have some glue from, because Olive and June had also sent us their, um, fake nails.
Kate: Yeah. Their press ons, their press. And I tried color camp also,
Doree: which you do use glue for? Yes. So I had their glue and I thought, okay, if I feel like the adhesive of, on the dashing divas, which is just like a, you know, you pull off the backing. If that's not strong enough, I can just put some glue on, but it's been fine even on my big toes, which like, they're not adhered E like totally evenly, cuz they can't be because my toes are like, the nail is not even, but they have stayed Dory. I'm blown away. To be honest. I mean, same. I haven't been wearing, you know, here in Los Angeles, like it doesn't get that cold. It gets cold at night. I mean cold quote unquote. But like during the day you can easily wear open toed shoes here. And I haven't been wearing them because I've been like too, self-conscious about my toes and now it's like a whole new world has opened up for me. I mostly like,
Kate: have you showered? Like you can get them wet.
Doree: Yes. I've showered. I've played tennis in them. I've ridden the peloton on yes.
Kate: Shut up. You've been running around with the fake. Wow. And they're still on?
Doree: Yes. They're still on, this is what I'm saying. This is what I'm.
Kate: Okay. So how long do you expect to keep them on for like two weeks or just until they grow out?
Doree: I believe they say you can keep them on for seven days.
Kate: Um, so, so are you gonna be sad when they come off?
Doree: Yeah, but I bought some other sets, so,
Kate: so you're ready.
Doree: I'm to rock and then I'm also, um, gonna reapply some yeah. Waterproof wear up to seven days.
Kate: So this is their magic press?
Doree: Yes.
Kate: Okay. I'm just looking on their website because now I'm like, Hmm.
Doree: And, and because there no glue, they're a little easier to take off.
Kate: I, I, I truly, I never expected this. I never really even thought about a press on toenail, but.
Doree: I didn't either. But here we are.
Kate: here we are 20, 20 a year of invention innovation thinking outside the box, the toe box,
Doree: the toe box.
Kate: I mean, they've got like toenail fake toenails for all seasons on their web. They've got nail.
Doree: Oh they do. They've solid colors. They've matte. They have glossy.
Kate: Are you you're wearing. a matte right now.
Doree: I am currently wearing red sangria, which is a really pretty, You know, kind of wine, burgundy wine color that like I would get at the manicurist. You know what I mean? Like I would get this as a color. Um, so yeah. Now I will say I did not have as great of an experience with their nail, um, strips, which are like sticker the sticker things you kinda stick on. Yeah. I put them on my I don't fingers and I felt like the sizing was weird. Like the press sounds, I felt like fit my toes perfectly. The nails, I felt like they were either too big or too small. Like they just didn't right. They say that you sh like you file them down. And I felt like when I was filing them down, they were getting, I don't know. They just like, they didn't work for me. I took them off in like less than a day. So don't really endorse those. But do endorse, at least for the pedicure. Haven't tried them for my nails yet. I do have some nail, some fingernail, um, ones that I haven't put on yet. But, um, I do play this.
Kate: I can't wait to hear what you think.
Doree: Yeah.
Kate: Wow. Okay. I'm shook so well, congratulations. This is wild.
Doree: Thank you so much.
Kate: I'm obsessed with this. All right. Well maybe other people will try and tell us what they think. Please. If you're gonna send us pictures of your feet, just put a warning first for me. Okay. I will do that. Um, no. I mean like everybody, I mean, if any listeners are like, I'm using fake toenails too. I love you all. And I love your feet in theory, but I have a feet. Give me the heeby-jeebies I mean, I,
Doree: I hope you just, I hope I do hope you appreciate that. I didn't just text you a picture of my feet.
Kate: No, you were. You were like not doing it. And I was like foot picture. And you were like, are you sure you don't like feet? And I was like, yes. In this instance, I need to know.
Doree: you needed to know. And I respected that.
Kate: Yeah. I was like, tell me, baby girl, because I need to know. And that's a quote from a song from the nineties and I can't place it anyway. They looked great. And they looked like you had just had a really nice pedicure. So I was very impressed.
Doree: Just called need to cause I need to know. I need to know baby. I need to know. Tell me baby girl. Cause I know need oh,
Kate: who sings that? It's Mark Anthony. Yeah. Okay. Well you are my JLo in this situation and I need it's to, to.
Doree: it's called. I need to know,
Kate: oh, the song he didn't know, but 30 years ago he was writing this about stick on toenails.
Doree: All right. Well on that note, we're gonna take a short break and we will be right back.
Kate: We have returned Doree.
Doree: Yes, Kate, we, we have some exciting news for our per Parisian listeners. I'm excited about this. Thanks to a per Parisian listener who called in to give us this exciting news. So we were going to share it via voicemail. All right, here we go.
Voicemail: Hello. Um, listening to the latest mini episode and we're talking about French things in Paris, and I just wanted to say that on the forever 35 living abroad group, we are trying to plan the little events in Paris for the forever 35 ERs. We have a picnic plan on April 10 and maybe we're gonna try to do like a thing every month, every so often. So if you live in Paris, if you are traveling to Paris or anything, join the group. And uh, may we can all meet up and Kate and Doree, of course we are waiting for you.
Doree: Wow. That was very, um, suggestive at the end there.
Kate: it was ominous. Right? Well, I know it sounds like something bad might happen. How cool is this a picnic? A Paris.
Doree: I mean, this sounds amazing, doesn't it?
Kate: Yeah. Would you have to roll up to this picnic? Yes. With all the most cliched French things ever like a big quant sticking out of your like little grocery tote bag in your beret, in your head.
Doree: I mean,
Kate: I love it. So if anyone is in Paris or areas around, outside, I get together with other listeners.
Doree: This sounds great.
Kate: Also us like send a photo,
Doree: also join the forever 35 living abroad group.
Kate: Yeah. How cool. So cool. Hmm. I still wanna, still wanna go really? Wanna go to France?
Doree: Wait, you've been to France, right?
Kate: I have been to France twice when I was 16. I did a home stay in Rual and then I did like a, this was like a school group. So I did a week doing a homes stay and then a week in, in Paris. And then when I was 21, I had my 21st birthday in Paris. Oh. But I haven't been back. I haven't been to France in like 20 years and I, I really would love to like explore other parts of the country and I would just love to be in Paris. And I mean, just, you know, living a dream, living the, the fantasy dream that we have in our heads of what living in Paris is like, when was the last time you went to France?
Doree: Um, at, and I were there in 20 17, 20 18.
Kate: Oh wow. Okay. That was recent.
Doree: Yeah. Matt's very good. Friend was in Paris directing a movie that's right. And had an apartment with a guest room and we stayed there. I think it was 2017. Um, and that was really fun. And Matt would literally walk down this street, like eating a baguette.
Kate: I mean, yeah. Why not? Yeah. You know, you can't hide your Americanism anyway. Like it's so evident that when you're an American, so it's like, I might as well just lean into it totally. A little bit, you know?
Doree: Totally.
Kate: All right. Well, here is a, um, um, text message. We received.
Text: Kat and door. Has anyone talked on the pod about mouth taping at night? I was just turned onto this by my acupuncturist. And after doing some research benefits to snoring, sleep apnea, blood pressure, teeth health, and more, I don't know how we're not all taping at night.
Doree: Um, I don't think we've talked about it on the show, but I feel like I was just someone I know was just posting about mouth taping. I think.
Kate: busy Phillips. I think it was busy Phillips. I mean, I dunno if she's the person you're thinking of, but I think busy Phillips was.
Doree: Yeah, maybe it was.
Kate: Why did I say that? We,
Doree: I don't know.
Kate: I, I had never heard of this until I, I saw someone posted on Instagram recently, who I think in my head it was busy Phillips, but I could be wrong. I'm intrigued. I wanna try this, but I'm also scared because I'm a Mo open mouth sleeper. I think like, it looks claustrophobic to me and it makes me nervous. I'm also a snorer, so maybe I should try it.
Doree: Mm. Well try it and report back.
Kate: Yeah. I'm, I'm definitely curious. I mean, I, I guess I could ask like monitor my snoring with a recording or something. I can try to figure that out. Yeah. I could try it and see if I panic within the first five minutes or not. You feel it doesn't something about taping. Like even when I sit here and I close my mouth, I feel it makes me anxious. I don't know. So.
Doree: Okay. So benefits to snoring, sleep apnea, blood pressure, teeth health, and more fascinating. And I don't think I sleep with my mouth open.
Kate: Oh really? I definitely, I I'm like,
Doree: I don't think I do. So I don't know that this would, I mean, but also the thought of taping my mouth shut kind of scares me.
Kate: I know, doesn't it, there's something claustrophobic or just kinda anxiety inducing about it,
Doree: but maybe, you know, maybe I just have to try it.
Kate: Yeah. You know what? You gotta try new foods cuz night taste good. That's what Daniel tiger says. So the same thing can be applied for mouth taping.
Doree: It's true.
Kate: All right. I'm curious. I'll report back. I'll try it. Okay. I'll try it.
Doree: Thank you. Thank you for taking one for the team.
Kate: It's my honestly, a pleasure. I love our team.
Doree: All right, Kate, we have couple of voicemails to play.
Voicemail: Hi cat. Do. This is calling from Dallas, Texas. And I wanted to ask both of you about moving to California. Is it really everything that we in Landers dream that it is my family and I have been toying around with this idea off and on for several years now. Is it really just endless perfect weather, beautiful and hiking and delicious, fresh, healthy food. Is this just an image ID from and vacation? I would experiences about why you moved and how you life in California coast.
Doree: Then there's A's part two, right?
Kate: There's a follow up. Yes. So we're all on the same page.
Doree: Okay. Right.
Voicemail: Hi, this is Alison. I just called him as a voicemail about moving to California. I just wanted to specify, I'm referring to Southern California specifically, like anywhere between San Diego and Santa Barbara, obviously California is huge and diverse and uh, you know, that's Southern California is what we're thinking about. Thanks, bye.
Kate: So I'm glad that they specified because California is enormous. It is. And very different from it is place to place. Yeah. Well, my family moved from New York city to California, uh, because of my husband's. So that's why we live in Southern California and have lived here for 11 years, which is a long time. And Doree, why did you move to California?
Doree: I moved to California because I was just kind of over the east coast. A good reason. Quite frankly. Yeah. Yeah. So I think the answer to this person's question, which is actually a very interesting question is that yes, it is as great as it seems, but also it, there is a ton of not great stuff about it that you should definitely consider if you're thinking of moving here, like all the things that you, I mean, to me, all the things that you mentioned, like, yes, all those things are they're real.
Kate: Like I have a orange tree that grows in my backyard and I just, when I want an orange, I go out and I just pick an orange. We have a grape fruit tree. Yeah. Like that. I never heard to me that people had fruit trees until I moved here. I know it's wild, but housing is insanely expensive here. Like so expensive. It's really expensive to live here. Gas is unbelievably expensive. It's like right now I paid the other day I paid $6.09 and I was like, well, this is, this is the cheapest gas I've seen in a while.
Doree: What the, and like you do have to drive everywhere. It's I mean, there are people who don't have cars obviously, but I do think it makes your life pretty tough if you don't have a car. Um, so you know, that's another huge expense schools are under the schools are underfunded. There's horrible pollution. Um,
Kate: yeah. With the, with the school's thing, California, they passed a proposition in the seventies, which basically like reduced the reduced property tax. Right. It capped property taxes, property taxes at 2% a year.
Doree: And it's not like everywhere else. It's correlated to like the assessment of your house house. And here it is not. So whatever you paid for your house in whatever year, your taxes can only rise by 2% a year. So now the result of that is that there are all these people who've been in their houses for, you know, 40 years or whatever, and like great. They can stay in their houses, but like that also means that people don't sell their houses. So, and it also means that the, the property tax revenue, which is what funds the schools is artificially low. So like, that's a problem.
Kate: Yes. Like California had had infamous like famously great public schools. And then now the public school system is severely underfunded.
Doree: The traffic is terrible.
Kate: Yeah. You never experienced traffic here.
Doree: Yeah. People it's like funny now to me, when people who visit are like, I'm gonna go to the beach for the day. And then I have dinner in like Highland park at seven. So we're gonna leave the beach at like five 30 and we'll have time to go home and, or, you know what I mean? And I'm like, oh honey, it's gonna take you like two hours to get yeah. From the, the beach.
Kate: I mean, yeah, at least. And I think we're speaking specifically about Los Angeles, like obviously Santa Barbara is different orange county, San Diego, you know, Ventura, like all, it's all gonna be different, but here it's rush hour starts at like 12:30 PM and doesn't end until 8:00 PM basically. And, and that's not an exaggeration. There is traffic.
Doree: You like a, you have a three hour window in the middle of the day to like go anywhere. And then after that, you better just plan on staying within like a two mile radius of your house.
Kate: Yeah. And it's not traffic like I ever experienced before. It, it, there is no way to get out of it. There is no shortcut the shortcuts of traffic. And so you are, there is a stuck feeling to the traffic in Los Angeles that is unlike anything I've ever felt.
Doree: Um, there's also a huge, um, there's insane income inequality and a very large unhoused population with like no real solutions for getting them housed. So that's a really big problem. Um, I don't know what else,
Kate: there's a lot of shit that mean California has its and the Southern California has its enormous problems. Yeah. All that being said, it's also a great place to live.
Doree: Yeah. But I would say if you, um, I don't know where you're coming from. Did she say, did I miss that?
Kate: I don't think they said,
Doree: I don't think she said, um, but I mean you, if you're gonna, we can only really speak to the Los Angeles area. But if you're planning on moving to the Los Angeles area, you like be prepared to spend a lot of money on buying or renting a house or an apartment. So like yeah. It's I mean, and it's really Crazys um, so it's like de it's it's demoralizing. How much houses here? Like if a friend said to me, I'm thinking about moving to LA, I would be really excited to have a friend like another friend here, but I would also be like, don't move here.
Doree: Like I think at this point I would tell people not to move here.
Kate: I will say my friend today sent me this great TikTok, this guy in TikTok who like fights with everybody about. And he, all he does is talk about how great California is and ends every, every video with California forever goodbye. And that really made my me laugh. And I was like, yeah, I kind of agree with him. So he, he could, he could also motivate you to move here. This man who, I don't know his name. I, my.
Doree: also all that said like now I kind it's like hard for me to picture living anywhere else.
Kate: Same. I can't, I don't think, I dunno. I will say I do love the vibe of California. I know there is so much, I love about living here. I will say. So it's a common visit and don't visit the touristy areas, come to the valley, come to where I live,
Doree: where it's also really hot,
Kate: where it can be 115 degrees, FY. I all right. We need to take a break. We do. All right. We really got us going too long. Yeah. Yeah. We love talking California. We should do a whole California episode someday.
Doree: Should we though?
Kate: I mean, for some, for anyone who wants it, it could be like a bonus app. Yeah. I don't know.
Doree: I'm simultaneously. I'm simultaneously like I love living here and I'm also feeling kind of down on California right now.
Kate: Yeah. It's not it's it's a frustrating can be a very frustrating place to live. Yeah. All right. We're taking a break.
Doree: All right. We are back an email from down under.
Email: hello Kat and Dor greetings from Sydney, Australia. I have never written to you before, but I just can't resist sharing my new discovery. Dory gave me the great gift of call my agent, which I would've never have, which I would've never found by myself since it ended. I've been in mourning, but I think I've found a worthy contender. It's an Italian Netflix series called an astrological guide for broken hearts. It's about a 30 something TV producer in turn. Who's facing many obstacles in finding love and progressing her career until she starts following the advice of a wacky astrologer it's part call my agent par Bridget Jones diary. Very quirky, very romantic, very funny. I think it would tick both with your boxes. Plus there is great Italian fashion slash lifestyle slash home decor to enjoy. Please give it a try and let your listeners well, mainly me know your thoughts. Thanks for being my virtual friends for so many years at my cozy twice weekly break in this never ending pandemic. Ooh, this does it does.
Kate: I'm I'm curious.
Doree: I'm very curious. Um, thank you for this wreck, Kate, not to go back to California, but I did just think of one more thing that I definitely take for granted living in the golden state.
Kate: What is that?
Doree: The politics. Oh yeah. Like, yeah, it's perfect. It's not perfect, but like, I don't worry that like abortion access is going to disappear. You know what I mean?
Kate: I do know exactly what you mean and that is a big worry.
Doree: That is a big, and to me that's a big plus for living here in California.
Kate: Yes. You freaking Mando for freaking men.
Doree: Just that just occurred to me as something that I did just wanna mention, as I was saying that I was pretty down on California, but there are definitely some things to really like about California and that is one of them. All right. Let us end with a voicemail.
Voicemail: Hey, Kate Doree. Um, I just wanted a little late or early spring tip. Um, this is like some selfcare idea to deal with seasonal depression in late February. I often order a couple tiny tester vials from lucky scent, um, of like beachy smelling coconut smelling perfumes. And then on days when I really wish it was hot outside and already summer, and it's still not, uh, the coconut perfume really does it for me. Um, I like creeds Virgin island water, which would be far too expensive for me to ever buy a full bottle of, but really scratches the itch for me for like those four weeks when you just are really dying for spring to come. Um, another good one is Cokey, uh, coconut or tobacco centered perfume, both very tropical. So, um, anyway, I'm just sitting here enjoying the way the coconut perfume smells and I thought I would you all off. Right? Thanks is always. Bye.
Doree: Well, thank you.
Kate: I mean, I, this is, this is my favorite kind of scent to wear. I basically wear this smelling scent year round. So I love this, these suggestions, cuz I can never have too many beachy. Coconut scents.
Doree: You love a beach scent.
Kate: Yeah. I like a beach, but I love a beach scent. I love I, and I wear bronze goddess in case anyone is curious, you know me?
Doree: I do. You've L you've been a bronze goddess dev devote for a long time.
Kate: You know what? It's just my favorite scent. And my kid was like, mom, can I, oh, she's so sweet. She was like, asked if you could wear my sweatshirt. And then she was like, and it smells like you. So I like it. And it smelled like that perfume. Oh, it was so sweet. And I was like, I guess, is this my signature scent? Like my gosh.
Doree: I also think of you as wearing Glossier perfume.
Kate: You know what, I, I loved that scent for so long and I just haven't been drunk. I'd like it, but I just haven't been picking it up lately. I don't know what it is.
Doree: Okay. I dunno.
Kate: All right. Well listen as usual, we've just been all over the place, but it's been fun.
Doree: We have. Thanks everybody. All right.
